Your present skillset:
In depth knowledge of Linux (preferably RedHat distributions), with experience in building and administering trading platforms.
Extensive experience with architecture and long-term evolution of automation / configuration management systems. Ansible experience preferred.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana.
Experience with build/release management systems.
Solid programming skills in Python and Bash. C/C++ is a bonus.
Detailed understanding of server network stack, network protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, IGMP), LAN and WAN technologies.
Experience of performance analysis and tuning.
Experience working in a collaborative development environment using source control.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience driving adoption of engineering standards across teams; experience contributing to or defining those standards is an advantage.
Good team player with a willingness to help others.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
