Your present skillset Extensive enterprise Windows Server and infrastructure engineering experience. Strong Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS expertise. Advanced PowerShell and infrastructure-automation skills. Strong VMware ESXi, networking and storage knowledge. Experience with Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune and Citrix DaaS. Proven experience formally managing engineers, including objectives, appraisals, development and performance management. Strong incident leadership, decision-making and troubleshooting skills. Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders during incidents and periods of change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical issues, risks and decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to give clear direction, constructive feedback and difficult messages when required.
