Your Skills and Experience:
Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin is a must
5+ years of experience in one of the following: an international or local financial institution (e.g. bank, (prime) broker or exchange) with significant exposure to trading technology; corporate development within a proprietary trading firm with significant exposure to technology; or a technology provider to trading firms with a solid understanding of physical infrastructure
Strong understanding of technology and physical infrastructure used by global trading firms
Prior working experience related to Chinese financial markets is highly preferred
Based in Sydney Comfortable engaging day-to-day counterparts at exchanges, brokers and vendor Strong sense of ownership — able to track multiple workstreams to closure and know when to escalate
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Self-motivated and commercially minded, comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, while always maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity
