(I) A degree in Electrical Engineering (major in electronics), Electronics Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or a related subject or a qualification from a Hong Kong university or equivalent (obtained in 2026 or after), which satisfies the academic requirements for corporate membership of the Electronics or Information discipline of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and for admission into the HKIE Training Scheme “A” in the Electronics or Information discipline; and (II) Be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of engagement unless specified otherwise.
