Requirements
University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Risk Management or a related discipline.
Good progress toward qualification with the Society of Actuaries or another recognised actuarial body.
Typically 3–6 years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably in life insurance reporting, valuation or corporate actuarial work.
Practical experience in experience monitoring and assumption reviews, including financial-impact analysis and preparation of governance or approval materials.
Experience in IFRS sensitivity and movement analysis across balance sheet and profit and loss; IFRS 17 exposure is preferred.
Understanding of actuarial model governance, methodology and assumption implementation, user acceptance testing, change control and validation.
Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with effective written and verbal communication in English and Chinese.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work within tight reporting and governance deadlines.
