Principal Manager (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science)

Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) at the time of appointment and should possess by the application deadline –
(a) minimum five years of relevant full-time work experience in artificial intelligence, data science and/ or innovation and technology sectors, preferably in managerial role;
(b) previous work experience in investment promotion, account management, business development, marketing; and project management in artificial intelligence, data science, and/ or innovation and technology or public sectors would be an advantage;
(c) a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, more advanced degree(s) and/or professional qualification(s) would be an advantage;
(d) strong knowledge of and experience in the local and global artificial intelligence, data science, and/ or innovation and technology related sectors;
(e) extensive network in the artificial intelligence, data science, and/ or innovation and technology ecosystem;
(f) strong team spirit, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
(g) be adaptable, open-minded, and equipped with strong interpersonal skills. Be able to proactively learn new skills, embrace new assignments, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders; 
(h) an international perspective with a good understanding of the Mainland and Hong Kong business environment, Hong Kong’s unique role and contributions to the national policies; and
(i) a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including spoken Putonghua).
