Your Present Skillset 3 to 8 years of hands-on infrastructure or cloud engineering experience. Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, networking, security). Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), including on-premises cluster management. Strong grasp of CI/CD principles and tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar). Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK). Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and performance optimisation. Familiarity with time synchronisation concepts and protocols (NTP / PTP). A proven ability to work autonomously: given a problem statement, you self-source what you need and deliver a production-grade solution without hand-holding. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working alongside highly competent peers and demanding business stakeholders.
