- Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

Candidates should - (a) have full registration in Hong Kong under the Dentists Registration Ordinance; (b) possess a valid practising certificate issued by the Dental Council of Hong Kong; (c) possess a Master Degree in Orthodontics, or an equivalent qualification; and (d) have a good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
