• The successful applicant will need to work collaboratively with the class teacher, respond sensitively and confidently to the needs of children, Applicants applying for the post must already hold a relevant recognised Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. The successful candidate must have a minimum of Grade C or 4 in GSCE English and Maths (or equivalent), and experience of working in a primary school setting.
• We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and the successful candidate will be expected to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service check at an enhanced level and/or be registered with the Update Service. They will be required to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children as part of the selection process. We will also undertake online searches.
