- You must ensure SEN Support Interim Reviews are robustly completed within required timeframes and monitor student outcomes quarterly. This role requires effective deployment of resources, including Teaching Assistants, and supporting the Early Help Assessment, CP, CIN, and LAC processes. You will also manage Exam Access Arrangement referrals to ensure JCQ compliance.
- Required experience includes working within a school environment and direct experience with children exhibiting vulnerabilities, SEN, and behaviour difficulties. Candidates must possess experience and understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues.
- Essential skills include the ability to effectively communicate, track and analyse data to identify students requiring intervention, and support the most disadvantaged to ensure full inclusive practice. An understanding of the JCQ Exam Access Arrangement procedures is required. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in youth/community work or a related area is desirable. A satisfactory DBS check is mandatory.
