About You You should hold a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, Delta). Celta is not recognised in the UK as a full teaching qualification, but successful applicants can be supported to complete a L5 Teaching Qualification with the college with department financial support. English and Maths at Level 2 or above and a willingness to improve in one or both disciplines to Level 3 or above. Have experience teaching ESOL to adults in a UK college; not just EFL or pre-sessional. Ability to plan and deliver quality teaching across identified modules.
