About You: Lynn Grove Academy are seeking to appoint an exceptional, ambitious and experienced Assistant Principal (SENDCo) to lead and further develop our provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity to build upon a strong and growing SEND provision and to play a key strategic role within an aligned and ambitious leadership team. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership for SEND across the academy, ensuring that every student receives the support, challenge and opportunities required to achieve their full potential. Our Ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status Degree or equivalent qualification Significant and successful experience working within SEND provision in a secondary school setting A secure understanding of current SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
