• Are you a conscientious, thorough and reliable person who takes pride in maintaining high standards? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for an Evening Cleaner to join our team at Corby Business Academy. This is a vital role within our Academy and plays an important part in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school. The role is physically demanding and involves cleaning to a consistently high standard, as well as lifting and moving furniture when required. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across all areas of the school, including classrooms, offices, food technology, toilets, the restaurant and other communal areas. The successful candidate will be required to work during term time, plus an additional three weeks during the school holidays. This role would suit someone who prefers to start their working day in the afternoon, enjoys working as part of a team and takes genuine pride in their work. If you have excellent standards, a positive attitude and an eye for detail, we would be delighted to hear from you.
• The Academy typically becomes quieter from around 4.00pm, once our after-school clubs have finished, providing an ideal opportunity for the evening cleaning team to focus on maintaining the highest standards across the site. All members of the Site Team undertake annual mandatory training, including COSHH training, ensuring that everyone has the knowledge and skills required to carry out their role safely and effectively.
