About You English and Maths qualifications to Level 2 (GCSE A-C), or equivalent. Teaching Assistant Qualification, or equivalent. Experience of working in an education setting. Experience working with children of relevant age. Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding regulations. Ability to communicate effectively with both adults and children, of all abilities. Flexible and able to cover a variety of classes and age groups as required. General understanding of National Curriculum and other base learning programmes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role. A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.
