Qualifications Minimum of NEBOSH Certificate, or equivalent Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy Evidence of continuing professional development Member of IWFM (desirable) Knowledge/Experience Experience of supporting the Health and Safety in a work place environment Experience of the FE sector would be an advantage An understanding of estates operations Experience of influencing positive health and safety behaviours Clear understanding of customer service Experience of effective team working and promoting relationships between staff, students and the community Skills/Attributes Excellent communication skills Flexible approach Customer focused Logical approach to problem solving Strong IT skills including competent use of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Ability to think and plan creatively Additional Requirements Will be required to work across all college sites Willingness to work flexible hours Post Information Reports to Head of Health & Safety Salary – £35,733 - £37,902 The post holder will undertake all duties and responsibilities in compliance with regulatory, legislative and college procedural requirements.
