• This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join Lavington School, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. The role involves carrying out a range of cleaning duties, including cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and toilet facilities, as well as replenishing supplies and ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard. Working as part of the site and cleaning team, you will safely operate cleaning equipment, use cleaning products in line with health and safety procedures, and support the effective running of the school. You will also be responsible for monitoring cleaning stock levels, maintaining tidy storage areas, and reporting any issues to the Cleaning Supervisor. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of cleaning practices, take pride in their work, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong reliability, organisation, and a flexible approach are essential, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards and supporting colleagues when required. A commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, equality, and the wider ethos of the school is fundamental to this role. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
