Higher Level Teaching Assistant

• In this role, you won't just assist, you will lead and take ownership of a specialist area to drive real success for our children. You will take accountability for overseeing a specific area of SEND interventions matched to your skills, interests and the needs of our students (full specialist training provided). You will be required to act as a champion for a designated group of SEND and disadvantaged children, relentlessly promoting good attendance, active engagement, and well-being. You will be required to plan, deliver, and evaluate high-impact, targeted intervention sessions that empower students to succeed across all areas of the curriculum. The vast majority of sessions are driven via pre-prepared resources, therefore familiarisation of platforms and textbooks ready for delivery will be key to success. It is essential that the correct candidate has a good level of IT skills so that student progress can be tracked and monitored, alongside good communication skills in order to build strong relationships between a variety of different stakeholders and children themselves.
