What we're looking for Essential Experience of working with children or young people in a school, college or similar setting Ability to support learning in 1:1 and small-group contexts and to apply behaviour support techniques Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and promoting inclusion for all students The organisational skills to plan resources and keep clear records Desirable Experience of implementing EHCP provision and tracking its impact Knowledge of specific literacy/numeracy interventions or SEND strategies About the team / department You will join the Learning Support Assistant team and work closely with the SENCO, class teachers and pastoral staff. The LSA team is described by the school as collaborative and supportive; LSAs share planning, resources and strategies to ensure consistent provision for students with SEND.
