- All posts working with children will be subject to the disclosure of criminal records, and identification documents will be required as evidence of identity and right to work in the UK. It is an offence to apply for the role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. The post you are applying for is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If you are successful at interview you will be required to declare any spent and unspent convictions, adult cautions (simple or conditional) that are not "protected" as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 and 2020).
