Behaviour & Learning Practitioner (BLP)

• The Behaviour and Learning Practitioner will contribute actively to promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of all pupils across the academy. Working alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Behaviour and Pastoral Manager and wider leadership team, the post holder will support the identification of safeguarding concerns, monitor pupil wellbeing and help ensure that appropriate support is in place for vulnerable students. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with pupils, encourage safe and respectful behaviours, maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with staff, families and external professionals where required. Through daily interactions with students, the Behaviour and Learning Practitioner will play an important role in fostering a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment, while upholding Derby Pride Academy’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
