What you will need to succeed: For a full list of responsibilities please see the attached Job Description Educated to level 3 or equivalent professional qualification in education, pastoral support, behaviour, youth work, safeguarding or a relevant field. Experience of leading, supporting and developing a team, with the ability to set clear expectations and maintain high standards. Experience of supporting children and young people with behavioural, emotional, social and educational needs. The ability to apply behaviour policies consistently and coordinate effective pastoral support and interventions. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to work sensitively with families and other professionals. Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures, including the appropriate handling of confidential information. The ability to interpret behaviour and pastoral data, maintain accurate records and use findings to improve outcomes for students.
