Teaching Assistant/Teaching Assistant 1:1 Early Years

• We are looking for a kind and caring Teaching Assistant/Teaching Assistant 1-1 with a warm, friendly, positive and cheerful disposition, to provide support for pupils and teachers within our school. Whilst this role is primarily based with the Early Years team, the successful candidate will be expected to support throughout the school if required, working with whole classes, small groups or as a 1-1 with a specific child,
• You will need to be passionate about working with children and have a growth mind set. The ideal candidate must be educated to GCSE standard in English & Maths (Grades A-C or 9-4) and be committed to enabling our children to achieve their full potential. Proof of qualifications will be asked for at intereview. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be able to use their initiative in dealing with situations effectively and can work as a team member. They should be consistent in their approach and be able to relate calmly and positively, showing patience and a caring attitude.
• In line with the governments code of practice for workers in the public sector (Nov 2016) applicants in a customer-facing role must be able to speak English fluently.
