What we are looking for
An excellent classroom practitioner with a clear understanding of effective teaching and learning to inspire, nurture and guide pupils of all abilities
Proven ability to manage pupils in calm and positive ways.
A teacher with previous experience of teaching in KS1.
Have very high expectations of achievement and behaviour and have energy, enthusiasm, drive and determination to raise standards
Commitment to modelling Sherard’s values in order to grow these across the school community.
Exceptional organisational skills including time management.
A teacher genuinely interested in educational research and uses this information to improve their teaching.
A reflective and solution-focused practitioner who is keen to be the best teacher they can be.
Someone who can work both independently and as a member of a team.
A commitment to inclusion for all.
A willingness to build positive relationships with parents and carers.
