What We Are Looking For:
The successful candidate will possess:
A Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Automotive Technology.
A Grade C/4 or above in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent
Be First Aid at work trained (full 3-day course) or a willing to undertake the training.
While a teaching qualification is not mandatory, we value strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate within a team.
Your ability to work independently, supporting both staff and students with initiative, is essential.
If you have a passion for automotive technology and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our students, you could be the perfect fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in practical sessions, ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for effective teaching delivery.
Supervise, where required, student use of Tools & Equipment
Organise and maintain stock, tools, and oversee general vehicle repairs and workshop maintenance. Multiple workshops
Collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Support teaching staff to maintain Health & Safety and Good Housekeeping in workshops.
Maintenance of Automotive Resources.
Delivery of key units within Automotive Curriculum timetable
Assist team in planning and maintenance of Teaching and Learning strategies
