Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. Additional SEND qualifications (e.g., NASENCo, autism-specific training) are highly desirable. Experience Proven experience in teaching students with special educational needs (SEN), specifically Autism (ASC) for a minimum 3 years. Proven experience leading/managing staff Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, PECS, Makaton, Trauma Informed Practice and positive behaviour support strategies Personal Attributes Resilient, flexible, creative, patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education.
