Test your setup
Check the meeting platform, link, camera, microphone and headphones. If you need to share your screen, practise opening the right file and turn off unrelated notifications. Plug in your device and allow time for updates.
Prepare your space
Choose a quiet, well-lit place with the camera approximately at eye level. Keep your CV, job description and questions nearby while focusing on a natural conversation.
Plan for interruptions
Have the interviewer’s contact details ready. If the connection fails, briefly explain and ask whether to reconnect or switch to a phone call. Confirm the next step and expected timeline before ending.
