Questions to ask in a second interview in Hong Kong
Clarify early goals, collaboration and the remaining hiring process.
Ask about early priorities
Try: “What are the most important goals for this role in the first three months?” and “How will progress be measured?” Record the answers and compare them with the job description.
Understand collaboration
Ask who the role reports to, which teams work together and how decisions are usually made. For example: “How does this role collaborate with other departments?” Adapt questions to the interviewer rather than asking everything at once.
Clarify the process
Towards the end, ask about remaining stages, the expected timeline and any additional materials. Use the conversation to assess fit and note terms you still need to verify.
